The path to Cala Violina

After leaving your car in the parking lot, it will be necessary to walk about 1.5 km along a path through the forest. The walk is not very challenging and, from time to time, you will be captivated by delightful panoramic views of the blue and crystal-clear waters of the sea.
The path, which takes about 20-25 minutes to walk, goes through the Riserva Naturale delle Bandite di Scarlino. The path is fairly easy, although it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes (preferably sneakers).
The parking
Appena prima dell’inizio del sentiero che per Cala Violina, si trova il parcheggio dove sarà necessario lasciare la propria auto. The parking lot is open every day from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. For safety reasons, the parking lot can accommodate a maximum number of cars (250). Once the maximum capacity is reached, the parking lot is closed, and you can only access it again if other spots become available (often cars wait a long time for a spot to become available). Especially during high season, it is advisable to reach the parking lot by 10 am or in the late afternoon.
